JCCU has been hosting "Children's Visiting Day" since 2023. This initiative aims to deepen understanding of JCCU among both parents and children, thereby supporting child-rearing and improving staff engagement. This year, the event took place on August 20, 2024, at the JCCU Head Office, CO-OP Plaza, with 38 participants, including JCCU staff and their elementary school children. Additionally, the event was held on July 31, 2024, at JCCU's Product Inspection Center, with 30 participants, including staff and their elementary school children.

At CO-OP Plaza, the children participated in a range of activities, including an interview with the CEO/Managing Director responsible for business operations, a tour of the staff workplace, and a business card exchange (with the children creating their own business cards). They also created product POP displays at the in-house shop, toured the CO·OP Brand Product Museum, and engaged in making parfaits using CO·OP Products.
At the end of the Children's Visiting Day, Love Co-op campaign character. ("Loveko") appeared as a special guest.
The following are comments from participants:
"It has become an unforgettable memory for both my child and me, and I would like to see this initiative continue."
"It provided an excellent opportunity to show the children my workplace and to let them know about the nature of my work."

" The experiment of freezing towels in the freezer was surprising and fun."
"I had fun using my father's research tools."
Program outline
●The Theme "Measuring" Time
Using actual experimental equipment and scales, the children measured materials prepared by the staff and observed the substances separated by a centrifuge. They were fascinated by the changes in color of the separated liquids and solids.
●The Theme "Coloring" Time
Participants drew on paper with water-based pens, dipped it in water, and enjoyed watching the colors change. Sometimes the colors turned out as expected, and other times they didn't, but many colorful flowers bloomed.
●The Theme "Peeking" Time
Using a "Mold Hint Book" specially made by the staff for the class, the children observed the shapes and colors of cultivated molds under a microscope and tried to solve the mystery of what kind of molds they were.
●The Theme "Freezing" Time
The children did an experiment in a freezing room, which was very cold to enter (Room temperature: -20°C). They swung a wet towel around to see what would happen. They were surprised and amused at how the towel froze and became hard. While the adults stayed still and felt cold, the children were full of energy.
●The Theme "Surprise" Time
A staff gave a lecture on how to read the nutritional information labels on food packages. After drinking juice, everyone was surprised by the amount of sugar listed on the nutritional label on the package.
